Additionally, we add value to our listings by seeking out Buyers outside the franchise system who may be willing to pay more than an existing franchisee, and by finding Owner-operators who may be interested in lower-performing units as turn-around opportunities. We understand that every brand has minimum financial and experiential qualifications, so we make sure we only bring Buyers with a good chance of Franchisor approval.
In addition to reaching out to Buyers already in our extensive database, we also advertise our listings on several different business for sale websites, in trade journals, and through print and email marketing. We cooperate with other business brokers who bring in their own pools of Buyers, so our network of franchise professionals stretches across the US.
FranBizNetwork is familiar with programs offered by many SBA and conventional lenders and can refer Buyers to the right place for third party financing for a particular brand.
Once we do find the right Buyer, we guide him through the due diligence process, help him create a business plan, submit the application package to the franchisor, prepare him for the franchisor interview, assist him in obtaining financing, coordinate the lease assignments, and are present at closing to make sure things go smoothly at the change over. Every transaction offers new challenges, and we make it our business to come up with creative solutions to bring them to a successful close of escrow.
